Pamela Anderson Wore No Makeup and Old Hollywood Waves

I’ll try to be as non-parasocial about this as possible, but Pamela Anderson brings me so much joy. Every interview I watch or Substack post I read brings a new little burst of inspiration from the superstar—and I know her impact is going to bloom for many, many, many years to come.

At the 2025 SAG Awards on Sunday, February 24, Anderson walked the red carpet in a goddess-y one-shoulder cream Dior gown. Her famous blonde locks were styled in Old Hollywood curls, and her face was void of makeup.

Pamela Anderson’s Classic SAG Awards Beauty

While we’re no longer surprised when the 57-year-old steps out sans foundation and eyeliner, we’re still extremely delighted to see her classic beauty au naturel. That won’t ever change! And if the inspiration to change things up and throw on a pink lip strikes, she knows it’s entirely her decision.

In the meantime, a new hairdo works wonders in freshening up a red carpet look. Though we’ve been loving her undone blonde waves recently (and will never say no to one of those iconic updos), the glamorous, retro curls she chose for the SAGs deserve their own moment.

While she’s skipped the glam team for much of awards season, Anderson turned to Lacy Redway for her SAGs look. The Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor nominee’s golden hair was worn down and side-parted—bangs included. Her medium-long locks were shaped into soft, romantic curls that fell behind her shoulders, one half tucked behind her ear. While she didn’t win, the night marked a major moment in Anderson’s career—and the hairstyle was fitting.

“This role saved my life… the catalyst to a new beginning,” she wrote of The Last Showgirl in an Instagram post. A capital A actress! As we’ve learned, you shouldn’t need a certain look to be taken seriously in the industry—but playing into the Hollywood glam of it all sure is fun.

Pamela Anderson’s Skincare Routine

Anderson told Elle last year that after the 2019 death of her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, she suddenly felt it was just “better” to not wear makeup. That isn’t to say she never has fun with products, but she’s taken the pressure off of herself to appear in full glam whenever she leaves the house. “[The new look] is freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too,” she added. “Because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing.”

While there’s no long list of makeup products I can offer you to help you get her immense beauty (again, it’s all natural!), Anderson’s beloved Sonsie Skin routine can help you get her glow. You’ll look like yourself once finished, which is the entire point.

The Last Showgirl star’s Sonsie lineup includes the brilliant Cleansing Mousse—a lightweight cleanser inspired by her rose garden at home that ensures a fresh and balanced base—and Super Serum, which plumps and refreshes your skin. Extra moisture and that dewy finish comes via the do-it-all Multi Moisture Mask, while the glossy Basic Balm adds a touch of red carpet glamour.
