Bella Hadid’s Mocha Mousse Manicure Is So Cozy for Winter

I know Pantone is pretty good about describing how their colors of the year are chosen, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the true inspiration is simply Bella Hadid. That’s how it goes for everyone else’s style. Why not this, too?

Luckily, the supermodel is nothing if not humble. Recently, she gave back by wearing a Mocha Mousse manicure that let the color experts share her spotlight—and gave us even more inspiration to integrate the shade into our 2025 experience.

Hadid’s Mocha Mousse manicure was shared via her Instagram story on January 7. In snaps promoting ‘Ôrəbella sets, she clutched her beloved fragrances with medium-length, almond-shaped, and most importantly soft brown-colored fingernails. Amazingly, the shade is an exact match to Pantone shade 17-1230, Mocha Mousse, which they say they chose to capture “a global mood of connection, comfort, and harmony.” How very ‘Ôrəbella!

According to manicurist and CEO of Nailing Hollywood Mazz Hanna, Mocha Mousse is “a light, luxurious brown with a warm undertone that feels approachable and versatile.”

“It fits seamlessly into the rise of more cozy natural tones and offers the richness of brown with a softer edge, making it a great neutral that will work all year long,” she previously told Byrdie.
