There’s a fervent fascination with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders—and it’s absolutely warranted. From their iconic uniforms to their next-level choreography (those high kicks and jump splits!) to their bombshell glam, members of the DCC are sports idols in their own right. The global interest in the Texan cheer squad has naturally spurred several television series over the last two decades, with Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders being the most recent. The documentary-style show follows several cheerleaders as they navigate auditions, training camp, and the NFL season, with one of the stars being 23-year-old Reece Weaver.
The Florida native joined the squad in 2023 and says the experience has been nothing short of transformative. “Personally, it’s helped me grow into a more confident, resilient, and grounded woman,” she says. “Professionally, DCC has taught me how to lead with both strength and humility. Most of all, being a DCC has shown me the joy of connecting with people, whether it’s performing in front of thousands or making someone smile during a hospital visit. It’s a true honor to wear this iconic uniform, and it’s shaped me into the best version of myself.”
Weaver also credits the DCC for helping her level up other skills—more specifically, her beauty skills. With so many public appearances and game-day performances on her schedule, it’s no surprise that she’s become a master of skincare, makeup, and hair. “I’ve had to learn how to maintain a full-glam look that can last through long days, sweat, and Texas humidity,” she shares. “I used to keep things super minimal, but now I know the power of a good primer, long-wear makeup, and hair products that fight frizz like it’s their job. I’ve also gotten way more serious about skin care—hydrated, healthy skin makes everything look better.”
Want to know the products she’s using? Ahead, Weaver offers us an inside look at what getting ready looks like as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
Her Game-Day Skincare Routine
“To keep my skin glowing and game-day ready, I love getting HydraFacials. They’re amazing for hydration and really help my skin stay fresh and dewy. I also get dermaplaning treatments regularly for that extra-smooth finish. On a daily basis, I keep things pretty simple but consistent. I always cleanse with a facial cleanser, follow up with a hydrating serum, and finish with a moisturizer to lock everything in. It’s a routine that’s gentle, effective, and keeps my skin happy—even under those bright stadium lights.”
Her Game-Day Glam Routine
“Game-day glam kicks off bright and early—usually around 6 AM if we have a 3:25 PM kickoff. It starts with skincare to hydrate and prep my skin, followed by a glow boost with the Revlon ColorStay Face + Body Glow Lotion. I love how it gives my face and shoulders this healthy, radiant finish without feeling greasy. Then it’s on to full glam: contour, lashes—you name it. I use the Revlon ColorStay Multi-Liner to contour and line my lips—it’s super creamy, blends easily, and stays put through everything. I always finish my eye look with Revlon ColorStay Full Time Mascara for flake-free volume that holds up through every performance. My number one must-have, though, is the Revlon Oil-Absorbing Volcanic Roller. It instantly takes down shine without messing up my makeup, which is a lifesaver under the stadium lights and cameras.”

How She Maintains Her Hair in the Texas Heat
“For hair, Hairitage’s Heat Protectant Mist and Mane Event Anti-Frizz + Humidity Spray are non-negotiables. I also try not to overload on product, because that can weigh my hair down or make it go flat by the third quarter.”
Her Signature Sideline Fragrance
“I either wear a scent from Frenshe—it’s clean, light, and has such a calming smell—or Viva La Juicy, which is fun, flirty, and has been a longtime favorite of mine. But if you ever brush by me, you might smell what I wash my uniform in, which is my forever favorite detergent, Diva Laundry Detergent.”
How She Helps Her Teammates Get Ready
“We’re constantly swapping beauty tips in the locker room. Along with a few others, I’m honored to be one of the hair teasers on the team. I give credit to my pageant sisters back in the day who helped me then. I love a good teasing comb that has both bristles and teeth within the comb.”
The Beauty Advice She’s Learned From Her Teammates
“One game-day makeup tip I received from my group leader is to press in your setting powder instead of sweeping it away with a brush. Using a puff to gently press the powder into your skin helps lock everything in place and gives a more matte, flawless, full-coverage finish.”

How She Soothes Her Muscles After a Game
“After a tough practice or game, I’m all about recovery to keep my body feeling its best. Usually, the day after, I love doing a sauna session followed by a cold plunge—it’s such an amazing way to help my muscles recover faster and feel refreshed. I’ll also roll out my body with a roller to reduce soreness and help with blood flow. I also make sure to take magnesium supplements to support muscle recovery, and I hydrate and fuel my body like crazy the next day to replenish all the energy I’ve burned.”
Her Self-Care Routine on Off Days
“On my off days, I try to slow down and reset, both physically and mentally. I love starting my mornings slowly, spending time with my sweet pup Ruby, and getting outside to soak up some sunshine. Whether I’m sitting on the porch or going for a light walk, being outdoors helps me feel grounded. Spending intentional time with my husband is something I really value on off days. Our schedules can get so busy, so we make the most of that time together, whether it’s running errands side by side, going on a little walk, or just enjoying a quiet moment at home. And one of my favorite ways to recharge creatively is floral arranging. I’ll grab a few bunches of flowers from the grocery store and let myself get lost in the process—it’s such a peaceful way to blend art, nature, and beauty into one simple joy.”
Her Game-Day Playlist
“My glam playlist is such a fun mix. I love throwing it back to the early-to-mid 2000s Disney hits— think The Cheetah Girls, Camp Rock, and, of course, Hannah Montana. There’s just something about those nostalgic jams that instantly puts me in a happy, confident mood. I also love listening to Forrest Frank—his upbeat Christian music always lifts my spirit and helps me feel grounded and grateful. And of course, being a country girl at heart, I’ve always got some Cody Johnson and Lainey Wilson in the mix.”
