Make Beauty Skin Mimetic Concealer Tested Review 2025

As we all already know, everything Hailey Bieber touches turns to gold. Whether it be her own products from Rhode or effortlessly creating nail trends, she always delivers what the people want to see. Hailey posted a TikTok GRWM of her current everyday makeup routine last week, and the Internet has been buzzing ever since with the products she used—especially her concealer of choice. In the video, she uses it to highlight under her eyes and cover redness around her nose, immediately making her skin look more luminous. As a fan of glowy coverage, I knew I had to try this product myself. With some research, I discovered it was the Make Beauty Skin Mimetic Concealer

This concealer has a radiant finish and provides buildable coverage, so you can use it to lightly cover imperfections or as a base for a full face of makeup. I was most impressed by the 20-option shade range with specific shades for neutral, cool, and warm undertones. I can be picky about complexion products, and I’ve stuck with the same concealer for years before deciding to make a change. It’s been a while since I added a new product to my rotation, so I was excited to see what this one had to offer.

The concealer comes in a sleek black tube with a thin, tapered doe-foot applicator that makes it easy to reach hard-to-conceal corners, such as around the nose or under the eyebrows. I found the formula light but creamy, blending without much effort—I could’ve easily used my fingers instead of a brush. The feel on my skin was super soft and hydrating—most likely due to the formula’s moisturizing ingredients, including squalane, red algae, and vitamin E.

I use concealer to cover hyperpigmentation and dark circles; few products I try can meet the challenge. However, I was quite impressed with this one; it brightened and illuminated my spots without creasing or leaving a chalky finish behind. The formula settled into my complexion nicely—it looked like my skin was naturally that radiant. I have notably hard-to-conceal dark circles, but this formula covered them efficiently with just a few swipes—leaving them glowy and hydrated.

Finding a concealer that doesn’t emphasize my dry skin can also be challenging, but I didn’t have that problem with this one. After wearing it all day, I loved that it looked the same as when I first applied it—zero creasing or separating. I’m excited to keep using this hydrating concealer during the colder months, and I’m sure it’ll become a staple in my routine no matter the season.
